Will you be adding special seats home theater or go with a big comfortable couch? This is important when planning the layout for the room where you watch your favorite movies and television. You want the comfortable lounge or nobody will want to spend too terribly much time in the room, no matter the size of the television screen. We like to be comfortable when we look at the 24 hours non-stop action or the nearest planet in a distant solar system exploded. Have you a plan that provided comfort in your home theater?

Have you all son connection? How about a reliable method to conceal the Home Theater imagecables so they do not provide a distraction during your movie and time watching television? Will you add play equipment to your home theater system? If so, it opens a new ball game entirely when it comes to son, because you will save even more cords and son and controllers into the mix.

The next question is how do you hide all the equipment? Although built in entertainment centers may seem like a good idea, they are killers to your score if you ever need to sell your house because they use up floor space and not everyone will appreciate your home theater. For this reason, I recommend a floor entertainment center ceiling with doors that can be closed around the objects you do not at any given time.

Although there is no right or wrong when it comes to designing a home theater for your family, there are practical issues that are to be considered. I hope it brought to mind some of them and that you are full of wonderful ideas for your home theater, present or future.
